LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
When it comes to raising a generation of leaders ,inculcation of linguistic and communication skills can not be denied . Considering language and communication an integral part of an individual’S personality , K V Noida provides for four languages in school namely Hindi, English , Sanskrit and German . This enables students to communicate not in India alone but also in the world at large, apart from opening vistas of career options. To hone language proficiency, a broad spectrum of events and activities is thrown open right at the class room to culminate into global level participation of students. Flushed with confidence students have been visiting countries like Germany and Japan and taking part at various fora amid applause and appreciation. Eish of class XIIth –A visited Japan recently Arindam of XI-H is leaving for Germany in September. Language proficiency prepares students to cope with the new environs smoothly.
DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH AS A LANGUAGE
The most widely spoken and understood language across the globe , English ,happens to be the medium of study. To enhance the skills of English language a variety of activities are organized . Students are motivated , guided and prepared to participate, in various activities and contests. To name of few Language Quiz, Spelling Bee , Dramatisation , Debate , Declamation , Story Telling , Role Play, Essay Writing are conducted . Motivational movies like The Debator, Akeela and the Bee, and Bio-pics on Stephen Hawkin, Nelson Mandela and Albert Einstien have been shown to students , serving multifarious purposes .
One student, master Arindam of class X contested Spelling Bee at National level, under “EK BHARAT SHRESHTH BHARAT” programme. Students who participated in English Olympiad also made a mark. Ayush Rajoriya (VI D) and Mohika Mathur (VII E) won Gold Medals
In coordination with the librarian students were stuggested books for reading , E-reading and were asked to write book review. To encourage the book reading , Best Student Reader Award is given away. This year the award was bagged by master Prabhu (X E).
School’s Morning Assembly also provides ample opportunities to implement and practise these skills.
