Harit Vidyalaya
The main aim of Harit Vidyalaya is to protect the environment as well as to conserve water as ground water table through the plantation drive. Vidyalaya has lush green areas of 261900 sqft. having approximately 1200 trees and shrubs. There are nearly 350 potted plants and about 200 medicinal plants. The Vidyalaya is having a kitchen garden, herbal garden and compost pit.
The members of the Eco-Club of the school which includes the teachers and students periodically take care of the cleanliness of the school campus and the upkeep of the school premises. Under “One Tree, One Child” initiative, all the teachers, parents and students are sensitized towards the green and clean environment.
